A small naming convention makes collaboration easier. The goal is to distinguish source files, working versions and approved exports without opening every file.
Give each project a clear home
Use one folder per project. Keep scripts and source media separate from exports. Put the short project brief at the top so anyone returning to the work can understand its purpose.
Name working versions consistently
Include the project name and a version number. Use an approval label only after the file has been reviewed. Avoid filenames such as final-final-new.

01-brief/
02-scripts/
03-source-media/
04-working/
05-approved-exports/
Keep an approval checklist
- Correct spelling and captions.
- Clear audio and readable text.
- Correct destination links.
- An export that matches the publishing requirements.
Archive the completed project
Keep the approved export, source files and decision notes together. This makes it easier to adapt the content later without guessing which version was published.
